How do I start a listening lesson?
Choose a conversation and session length, then press Play. The player loads the whole session before starting. The default speed is 1×, with 0.75× available for a slower pace. A word’s speaker button pauses the main session to prevent overlapping voices.
Will ten minutes repeat the five-minute lesson?
Longer sessions add different next chapters. Five minutes is one chapter, ten is two, fifteen is three, twenty is four and thirty is six. Short phrase repeats within a chapter are revision. A session starting near the end of the library wraps to the beginning.
Can I listen with my phone locked?
Start playback and wait until the timer moves before locking the screen. Keep the tab open. Background playback depends on the phone and browser. Downloading the MP3 and opening it in a native audio player provides another option; physical locked-phone acceptance is not claimed.
How do I use Binxo offline?
Save the app using the check in Settings, and save your audio separately in Listen. A downloaded MP3 also works in a separate audio player. Clearing site data removes local progress and saved files, so export a backup first.
What is free?
Each published course’s opening six lessons and two mini-tests, every Little Town place and level, and the first five-minute First Words recording. A free account saves your position. Full account access opens the remaining content. Checkout is currently closed; there are no subscriptions.
How does my account remember different languages?
Use the same Binxo passkey account. Each language has its own lesson, test, revision and listening progress. Wait for Saved to account or use Sync now before switching devices. Guest progress stays in one browser unless you move a backup.
I lost my passkey. What can I do?
Check the password manager or passkey provider used when signing up, or your browser’s cross-device passkey option. Binxo does not hold your private key or offer email password resets. A progress backup does not transfer paid or code access to another account.
Can I switch off the animated rooms?
Turn on Text mode in a lesson or Settings. It removes the scenes and decorative motion while keeping the same learning questions, audio and progress. Reduced-motion settings and a still-view option are also available.
How can I ask for help?
Open Help in the app and sign in to send a private support question. Replies appear there. Never send card numbers, passkey recovery details or upgrade codes. There are no email notifications.
