LEARN IT. HEAR IT. USE IT.

Everyday language learning with Binx

Binxo is a language-learning project from Binx Fun, with Binx the tuxedo cat as your guide. The focus is useful language for ordinary moments: a friendly hello, a shop request, a train journey and a catch-up with a friend.

Understand before you are tested

Each course has 30 beginner teaching lessons. Read and hear new phrases, see their meaning and practise them in a short exchange. After three teaching lessons, a six-question mini-test checks taught material. Submit any response, including an unfinished one, and see your score and constructive corrections at the end. Retakes are unlimited.

More than a list of words

Pictures, objects and animated rooms support the lesson rather than replacing it. The same course questions work in Text mode, with scenes switched off. Games offer another way to recognise words, find pairs and use language in café, shop and friend situations.

Audio built for understanding

Original scripts combine short target-language exchanges with slower British English meanings and practical grammar notes. Familiar phrases return in later topics. The audio uses prepared synthetic voices from free licensed models; it is not a recording of a human teacher or a commercial podcast. Credits and model notices are public. No independent native-speaker certification is claimed.

A free beginning and your own pace

Each published course includes six free teaching lessons, the complete Little Town game and a free five-minute listening chapter. Optional free accounts save independent progress for each language. Full account access opens the remaining content. There are no streaks, leaderboards or subscriptions; checkout is currently closed.
